What we look for


1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

2. Experience supporting the US federal government market. Eight or more years preferred 

3. Proven leadership skills and experience in managing technical programs

4. Strong process orientation and development skills with proven ability to motivate non-direct report team members.

5. Excellent business analysis capabilities.

6. Must demonstrate high comfort level working in a matrix organization.

7.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with formal report writing experience 

8. Possesses solid working knowledge of common computer applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.).

9. Ability to travel up to 40%.

10. The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance required. (This involves a background/character, criminal history, employment, and credit check.). Active security clearance preferred. 


1. Experience supporting the building technologies and solutions industry (Utility Monitoring, Metering, Electronic Security, HVAC controls/BAS, SCADA, Fire Alarms, etc). Eight or more years preferred 

2. Registered Professional Engineer, Masters of Business Administration, or Advanced Engineering degree preferred.

3. Experience working with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE)

4. Experience working with Maintenance and Service (M&S), Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS), Energy Saving Performance Contracts (ESPC), Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and/or other federal contracting vehicles. 

5. Three (3) or more years sales experience focused on building technology or services

6. Demonstrated understanding of U.S. Federal Government agency budgeting and contracting (acquisition) processes
