Description:
  •  Ensure that financial accounting systems are maintained in appropriate detail, including accuracy of data entry, account reconciliation and reporting in accordance with USGAAP.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting based on underlying financial records.
  • Position is non-supervisory – no direct reports.
  • Scope: Shared S&S / Ind Ref or BE (SSC). Geographical Scope: Single country – for SSC: E/A.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Responsible for the preparation of income and balance sheet statements, consolidated and various other accounting statements and reports.
  • Analyses financial reports, reviews and verifies the accuracy of journal vouchers, payroll records, sales and purchase ledgers, etc.
     May be specialized in:
  • Financial accounting: including the preparation of statutory accounts and financial reporting; may also include payroll, tax and treasury.
  •  Management accounting: responsible for the budgetary control system and providing management with financial information for planning, forecasting and controlling costs.
  •  Cost accounting: responsible for analyzing standards for manufacturing, subcontracting, labor costs, etc., including product costing and inventory control.
  • In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
  • Operates within defined parameters, prepares accounts and analyses as required. Work may involve all or some of the following activities: processing of sales invoices, processing payable invoices, inter-company billing, bank payments and inventory/fixed assets control.
    Involved in several of the following activities:
  • Sales and gross margin reconciliations and analysis.
  • Inter-company reconciliations.
  • Preparation or review of balance sheet reconciliations, including cash & bank.
  • Inventory / fixed assets control.
  • Accounts receivable reporting.
  • Preparation or review of financial statistics.
  • SOX Compliance.
  • Internal and external Audits.
  • In addition to the above mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.


      

      Qualifications: 

  • Professional with minimum 2 years’ experience in accounting within a multinational company.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong analytic skills and focus on accuracy & process oriented
  • High reliability

  • Demonstrate business acumen
  • Demonstrated communication skills
