Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and a fast learner
• Bachelor's degree followed by MBA 
• 5 years of working experience, with significant experience in market research / strategic marketing and/or management consulting
• Prior work experience/ exposure to priority fire suppression verticals – Construction, real estate, O&G, Automotive etc.
• Proven success leading strategic planning, growth initiatives, and/or operational enhancement engagements 
• Experience in managing multiple, complex projects and changing priorities, making sound decisions and working effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong written & oral communication skills

What you will do
The primary role of the Strategy Specialist is to help program manage business intelligence information across functions to build a picture of regional and product segment specific markets. The strategy specialist will also work with business and product leaders in using to the intelligence to support program management of region/product specific strategies along with other stakeholders and the strategy and marketing team. The ideal candidate must be skilled in data analysis, identifying critical data information sources and being structured and efficient in developing data driven insights and communications

How you will do it

• Develop programmatic approach to competitive, region and product intelligence by regularly researching market and competitive trends impacting fire suppression product markets
• Disseminate business intelligence in an effective manner to stakeholders across the organization either as reports or as newsletters
• Program manage M&A pipeline and potential M&A areas and specific targets to develop an M&A funnel for business units
• Development of bottom up pipelines of potential customers in order to work with BD to establish priority target lists and to support development of bottom up market sizing
• Top down market sizing for each business unit working with business unit product leaders
• Work with Engg. Team to drive competitive portfolio and teardown analysis
• Program manage execution of strategy projects driven by strategy / marketing or product management teams

Strong financial and excel modeling skills, and excellent power point slide preparation
