What you will do
This role will be part of a dynamic global team with a responsibility to deliver enterprise scale ‘best of breed’ digital marketing capabilities supporting our Fire, Security and HVAC business verticals. It offers a successful candidate an opportunity to be at the forefront of helping to define and shape our organizations current drive to standardize and simplify the global digital marketing technology landscape and drive towards customer centricity.

How you will do it

Lead and manage internal and external technical delivery resources for all project workstreams
Accountable for Build/ Test/ Deploy – Ensure projects delivered to Time/ Cost & Scope
Provide technical leadership and innovation across the solution development
Liaise with Platform Architect to validate solution proposals
Liaise with Global Digital Marketing Center of Excellence (CoE) Architects to align solution to the Marketing Technology Reference architecture
Assist Solution Delivery Leader in Detailed Level Estimation as part of Initiate and Planning Phase as required
Work with Project Manager to define project plan (e.g., project delivery tasks, milestones) and coordinate the alignment of dependencies within the project
Lead and set standards for technical reviews, peer reviews, and feedback cycles
Collaborate with Project Managers to deliver projects in alignment with technical and business requirements
Resolve workstream-specific technical risks and issues
Provide status updates around workstream scope, resources, deliverables, and timelines to the Project Manager on an agreed schedule
Prepare work and resource plans for each phase of the workstream Drive benefit realization and delivery of intended results in partnership with the project sponsor
Support Project Manager in providing updates to Program Managers and Steering Committees
Verify with Business Partners, Operations, and Information Security that the solution meets quality and performance requirements
Work with vendors and suppliers to evaluate options for solutions and services ensuring external requirements and features are incorporated into solution designs
Drive adoption of the Scrum processes, Lean Agile practices, and other rules that the team has agreed on
Facilitate all team meetings including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Up, PI Planning, Product Backlog Grooming, and Team Retrospective
Manage resolution of interpersonal conflicts and issues beyond the team’s authority to keep team focused on iteration goals and PI objectives
Help the Product Owner manage the team backlog by guiding team to focus on priorities
Prepare team for ART activities, including PI Planning, System Demos, and the Inspect and Adapt
Exhibit the behaviors of Lean-Agile leader and drive application of Lean-Agile practices
Foster a culture of technical discipline, craftsmanship, and innovation
Drive continuous improvement of deliverables to meet Definition of Done (DoD)
Drive continuous improvement by facilitating team retrospectives, teaching problem-solving techniques, and driving greater accountability among team members
Help Scrum team coordinate with other teams on the Agile Release Train
Communicate with management and outside stakeholders to limit any uncontrolled expansion of work
Represent team during Scrum of Scrum meetings and communicate progress to Release Train Engineer
Continuously publish and manage team performance metrics (e.g., burndown chart, velocity, capacity) in the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tool
Hold accountability for team’s commitments, and in cases of failure, communicate failure points, repercussions, and next steps to the ART

What we look for

Minimum of 8 years Digital Marketing experience, specifically Sitecore SXA, with minimum of 3 years working as a Solution Architect
Bachelor's degree in a technical or business management field, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
Extensive experience defining and delivering enterprise Digital Marketing solutions
Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign on, master data management and marketing reference architecture
Experience as a Senior Architect in a mid to large sized organization with demonstrated leadership driving technology and architectural transformation in a matrixed organization
A real passion for transforming businesses through technology
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Proven ability to rapidly learn new technologies
Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop and deliver materials that are appropriate for the audience
Experience with Agile implementation methodologies
Travel of up to 25%, but can be higher or lower based on business and project needs
Strong experience in the following business process areas: Campaign Management, Lead/Prospect Management, Marketing Automation, Marketing Analytics, Partner/Channel Management
Industry experience in Manufacturing is desirable
