What you will do

As the Applied Equipment Regional Sales Manager you will be responsible for all aspects and daily functions of your respective region’s Indirect Applied Equipment activities. You will support the necessary business and product metrics required to meet the company goals and objectives.

In addition, you will lead a team of independent reps in areas of development which include but are not limited to: sales; training; marketing; and application support.

**This position can be remote/virtual from home with required travel.


How you will do it

  • Provides sales management and marketing for local sales channels.
  • Develops annual region quotas and endures to deliver all milestones within agreed budget and time.
  • Develops and manages relationship with indirect sales channels and enhances their development of product knowledge and focus.
  • Assists in driving specification in the local market on Applied Products.
  • Ensures that all project information is inputted and regularly updated in CRM.
  • Responsible for regular updates of sales pipeline management.
  • Drives monthly/quarterly/annual sales performance to plan and forecast using CRM to document milestones along the way.
  • Increases ARI market share year-over-year, and margin plans in Territory assigned
  • Develops joint action plans in conjunction with representatives and distributors for planned growth in Applied Equipment. Conducts monthly/semi-monthly/quarterly sales reviews with each firm
  • Acts as an extension to the training department to train staff and sales channels with regularly scheduled activities.
  • Develops and recommends product positioning, and pricing strategy to produce the highest possible long term market share.
  • Prepares analysis of competitive activity for management as well as prepares plan to overcome competitive obstacles.
  • Establishes and maintains key relationships with influencers and strategic partners to increase market visibility.
  • Establishes Applied Equipment presence at key local associations such as ACCA, ASHRAE, MCA, MSCA, HARDI).
  • Responsible for coordinating all local Applied Equipment related events including trade shows and engineering seminars.

What we look for


Required

  1. Bachelor degree required, preferably engineering or engineering technology
  2. Engineering experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

  3. 8+ years of applied HVAC equipment (AHU or Chillers) experience.

  4. Critical thinking and problem solving of technical problems.

  5. Outstanding organizational and selling skills.

  6. 50% travel is required.

  7. Must be able to travel on business or work beyond normal work hours as necessary.

  8. Ability to work with different geographic location with culturally diverse groups.

Preferred

  1. MA/MS degree a plus.

  2. Technical experience with Applied Equipment and Independent Distribution

  3. P.E. license a plus.

  4. LEED A.P. and CEM accreditation a plus.
