What you will do....

The Director, Area Strategic Growth will be a member of the Great Midwest Area Management Team responsible for leading business transformation programs, mergers and acquisitions, and domain strategy deployment.

 How you will do it....

  • As a member of the Area Management team, responsible for meeting growth objectives for secured bookings, revenue, margin, and EBITA. 

  • Lead the deployment of key transformation strategies relative to service and digita growth, inorganic growth, pricing strategies and stimulus funding captured

  • Drive utilization of domain and commercial strategic growth programs within the area 

  • Identify acquisition targets and partner with M&A team to build pipeline

  • Successfully integrate acquisitions

  • Lead deployment of transformation initiatives and Building Operating System (BOS) countermeasures

  • Identify new growth opportunities and partner with domain, commercial and transformation office (TO)teams to integrate into operational plans

  • Build and foster a team environment across the area as well as within each business domain

  • Solicits support from and communicates effectively with internal staff

  • Works with Area and Local Leaders to ensure company standards, processes, and tools are used and applied

  • Ensure sales and field delivery teams are fully staffed to meet budget and market demands

  • Ensure local compliance to Regional and National initiatives by working within the JCI matrix structure

  • Participate as the Area Management Team representative on strategically important accounts helping to influence outcomes.

What we look for....

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business or marketing or related fields.  MBA preferred.
  • Twelve (12) or more year’s progressive management experience.
  • Project, sales, or management experience within the building management or adjacent space
  • Strong financial analysis and modeling skills.
  • Superb analytical skills with a sound intuitive ability to work in a complex and dynamic
  • Excellent customer interaction / interview skills.
  • Strong presentation skill and demonstrated proficiency in writing presentations for executive audience
  • Comfort and confidence around Senior Management
  • Prior strong experience in conducting acquisition and divestiture an added plus.
  • Ability to work well in a matrix environment.
