What you will do


The Rotating Shift Oxide Mill Operator maintains continuous operation of six oxide mills to insure adequate production of oxide which is an essential material required in the assembly of batteries.  This position works in a contained environment and is performed under extreme heat conditions.  Working in this area is very important and is the initial phase of creating materials for the battery composition.

 This is a rotating shift position.   Shift coverage is for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd shift and weekends.   Overtime is likely and helps to increase your hourly wage.  You may be asked to come in early or stay late depending on production demands or staffing shortage.


This shift works Saturdays and Sundays.  This position’s weekend alternative is Thursday and Friday each week.

How you will do it

Load the machines and initiate the process to complete this phase of the battery infrastructure.



  • Our Associates are compensated with an hourly wage of $18.27, plus shift differential of .44/hour
  • Incremental increases of between 4-5% begin after 3 mos. of consistent work history, then 9 months, 15 months, 27 months and 39 months

What we look for

·         A High School diploma or equivalent is required

·         Basic computers skills required

[Preferred Qualifications]

·         2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment as a machine operator

·         Able to work in a fast paced environment

·         Ability to multi-task and track processes for accuracy

·         Willingness to work overtime
