What you will do
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and building strong new client relationships for Johnson Controls’s Enterprise and National accounts business. This person provides one point of contact for the customer organization; provides expertise and resources for Installation and Service offerings. The National Account Manager works closely with the Operational delivery teams to insure all commitments are met or exceeded.

How you will do it

As a Business Development Manager you will:

• Identify & pursue New Opportunities across the National Geographic   Landscape in Canada
• Identify & pursue new customers
• Target key vertical accounts
• Source referrals based on relationships with owners
• Generate detailed proposals for Preventative Service Agreements (PSAs)
• Maximize the lines of services sold & the term of PSA
• Coordinate with local field offices for pre-approvals and contract execution.
• Enter, Track and Manage Opportunities in Salesforce
• Collaborate/cross sell with team members across the HVAC& Security Domains.
• Upsell/cross sell new lines of business on existing PSAs
• Manage leads for PSA opportunities from Local Sales & work with local Sales on MSA agreements.
• Send MAC (Move Add's Change) leads to Local Core Reps
• Send install leads to Local Solutions Reps
• Build and roll out Customer Playbooks
• Upload and Book PSA's into Sharepoint

What we look for

Required
• 6 years minimum in a sales or client service organization, post secondary education.
• Ability to deliver results while working in a highly independent and fast-paced team environment
• Proficient at uncovering key issues and providing insightful, actionable recommendations for improvement.
• Proven experience selling into the C-Suite, preferably early in the sales cycle.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both French and English with senior level leadership.

Preferred
• Previous tender response experience in the service arena is an asset.
• Experience of the fire protection business and familiarity of fire code, HVAC and the security business is strongly desired
• Exceptional oral, written and sales presentation skills.
