What you will do:

Contract Renewal specialists are responsible for ensuring customers renew their relationship with Johnson Controls. A Contract Renewal Specialist will communicate with customers by making outbound calls or emails to customers with contracts up for renewal and following up on opportunities to secure Contract Renewals.

To be successful as a Contract Renewal Specialist, you should be persuasive and committed to achieving sales goals. Ultimately, a top-performing Contract Renewal Specialist should be able to demonstrate strong negotiation, communication, and customer service skills at all times.

How you will do it:

  • Actively sourcing Contract Renewal Opportunities through cold-calling and emailing.
  • Negotiate offerings with an existing customer to ensure their continued patronage
  • Process customer contracts and agreements Advise customers on suitable products/Services based on their needs and specifications
  • Engage customers and resolve any existing concerns
  • Answering potential customers questions and sending additional information per email
  • Understanding customers’ needs and identifying sales opportunities
  • Upsell services and/or product as applicable to capture renewal
  • Achieve quarterly assigned team sales quotas
  • Maintain accurate forecast activities for assigned region
  • Maintaining long-lasting relationships with existing customers to reduce attrition
  • Partner with other members of the renewal team and with field sales to support in the selling process

What we look for:

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications and Salesforce.
  • Previous Sales experience.
  • Previous Experience with Customer Retention and Escalation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Must be a motivated self-starter with the ability to handle a high volume of e-mail communications and outbound calls.
  • Excellent and Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, concisely, confidently, and professionally within all levels of the company regarding complex issues
  • Well-organized with a strong ability to manage numerous projects and conflicting demands in a fast-paced environment
