Your tasks
  • Define/structure/lead action plans to grow our Service Business exponentially built on our long term Strategic Vision.
  • Standardize, expand and roll out service offerings to the market across the region prioritized based on growth potential and market demand. Close collaboration with the solutions team to create and successfully launch new service solutions. Initiates and leads the deployment of our Data Enabled Business offerings.
  • Create and develop strategic growth plans and Go-To-Market plans for main business area’s in collaboration with country business partners and country Service leaders in accordance with company strategies
  • Indirectly leading a team of Service professionals and provides day-to-day direction and coaching to the cross-functional team on priorities, objectives, processes and tasks.
  • Further professionalizes the service sales organisation
  • Focus on communication, people development, customer interaction & measuring results
  • Drive teamwork, culture, compliance and integrity
How you will do it
You will be part of the operational business service team which is responsible for providing programmatic leadership in which you will be focussed on driving growth of our services businesses across Continental Europe. Services encompass all product lines of business with varying levels of participation and success across the region.  Major focus lines of business include: HVAC Systems, Low Voltage Systems (Security, Controls, Building Automation, Fire Detection) and Fire Suppression; Industrial Refrigeration and Residential Security. The business also has business lines across markets such as Data Centers, Healthcare, Logistics, Public Infrastructure and Retail.
Under the direction of the CE Service Growth Director you will work with country and line of business leadership to develop, implement, and monitor strategies and action plans focusing on achieving above market service growth and profitability in a sustainable manner and drive retention- and margin improvements.
Your profile
  • University degree in business development or technical sciences, MBA or equivalent academic qualification
  • Minimum 5 years in business development or sales leadership for service businesses.
  • Extensive sales, operations and people management exposure
  • Outstanding track record of achieving sustained profitable growth
  • Experience of working in international organisations and within an international setting.
  • Effective teamwork, networking, and collaboration skills with ability to get things done in a complex, matrixed environment with distributed teams
  • Ability to combine strategic and tactical imperatives.
  • Strong communication and people skills at all levels in a business.
  • Create a positive and innovative environment which encourages commitment and trust and rewards positive achievements and behaviours.
  • Show consistency in behaviour and approach and encourage others to do so.
  • Promotes and develops the corporate culture & shared values including: Integrity First, Purpose Led, Customer Driven, Future Focused and One Team.
  • Focus, articulate and drive targets, budget achievement and results.
  • Fluency in English, plus other languages (German/French/Spanish preferred).
  • Occasional travel within the CE region and intercontinentally
