What you will do:
Under general direction and in conformance with Corporate and Division Policies and procedures, helps financial control and accounting activities of to assure accurate and timely preparation, recording, transmissions, analysis and communication of data necessary to control operations and achieve objectives.

How you will do it:
-Provides analysis, counsel, advice and recommendations to help management make operating decisions to reduce    costs, improve profits and return on investment and to achieve goals and plans.
-Ensure the integrity of the financial information generated at the plant
-Help to implement consistency and process improvements at the plant levels
-Spread financial knowledge to other members of the operations team
-Perform cost accounting responsibilities to include scrap sales, variance reports, obsolescence analysis and inventory controls
-Key role and helping manage the physical inventories and analysis for all ASC & PEN run rate plants. Analyze reports for variance problems, physical to book inventory variations, and work with plant teams to takes corrective action and root cause analysis
-Assist in capital project spend tracking, timing and cost impact against project plan, forecasts and budget to understand and report variances. Work with project managers to assure timely capitalization of equipment placed in use. Assist/perform sample CAR post audits to verify savings. Help coordinate periodic fixed asset physical inventory per company policies.
-Assist with the ASC and PEN annual standard cost roll
-Partner with operations and engineering to implement BOM’s for several plants
-Complete Balance Sheet reconciliations on monthly basis
-Help with the implementation of standard cost system for ASC & PEN run rate plants in the next 6-18 months
-Performs special studies and analyses under the request and supervision of the finance manager.
-Work closely with the MBC, BBC and plants to monitor GRIR, Accounts Payable and Inventory reporting.
-Help to ensure adherence to Corporate and Divisional accounting/internal control procedures, SOX compliance and reporting requirements for all plants.

What we look for
- Bachelor’s Degree required. Major in Accounting or Finance.
- 1-2 years of experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft suite, HFM - Hyperion Financial Management preferred
- Strong knowledge of internal controls and US GAAP accounting.
- Outstanding ability to communicate, motivate and partner with business operation leaders
- Ability to travel up to a potential 5% of the time.
