WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills with proven ability to produce effective communications materials using good writing and demonstrating ability to distill large amounts of research into concise, and impactful communications.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective coalitions and communicate adequately.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with a wide variety of people and to build strong professional networks.
  • Proven ability to work with a good level of accuracy in a fast-paced environment, with limited resources, under tight deadlines and great pressure from the business. Position requires the ability to work well independently and as part of a group, good stress management  and demonstrated resourcefulness in problem solving.
  • Ability to follow through with multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to set up files, maintain databases and prepare multiple status reports.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Experienced (5 to 10 years) attorney qualified to practice in Mexico with vast experience in the   manufacturing / industrial sector is highly preferable.

  • Hands on experience and knowledge in collective and individual labor matters.
  • Experience and knowledgeable in procurement matter and dealings.
  • Knowledgeable in collections, recoveries, and related civil/commercial litigation.
  • Experience as in-house counsel of multinational companies and / or Reputable Law Firm(s) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrable fluency in understanding, speaking and writing both English and Spanish languages and the correct use of commercial and legal terminology is necessary;   
  • Law Master’s degree (LLM) in a highly renowned local University and / or International University is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to adapt, learn and thrive in new and diverse environments and business areas.
  • Highly proficient in use of word processing and other data processing programs, especially Word, Power Point and Excel.
  • Solid interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and juggle multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment
  • Flexibility and positive attitude.
