The Customer Business Director II P3 will be responsible for managing complex customer relationships, interacting with a consortia and, in some cases, government agencies. 

Working directly for a regional director you’ll be responsible for managing complex customer relationships interacting with a consortia and, in some cases, government agencies.

Working in cooperation with the customer's upper level management team and O&M service subcontractors, you’ll take responsibility for managing overall accounts operations in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget. You will serve as the main contact for managers at the client level and addressing operational, contractual and financial issues.

How you will do it 

As a Customer Business Director II P3, you will have a lead role in managing the strategic operations of various assigned facilities, based out of the Howard County Consolidated Courthouse in MD you will have responsibility for development of the FM plan, and all related documentation to ensure readiness, of this site, for FM Operations in 2021.

Additionally you will provide oversight and leadership to the Combined Utilities Plants in Norfolk Naval Station, NIST (Gaithersburg) and Aberdeen Proving Grounds.  You will be prime for mobilization of the new Miami-Dade court and other P3 projects on the eastern seaboard that we are binding for at this time.

On all assigned sites you will be responsible to ensure the operations, maintenance, and vendor management standards of the contract are met in a cost effective, safe and efficient manner. Working in cooperation with the customer's upper level management team and O&M service subcontractors, you’ll take either direct or oversight responsibility for managing overall account operations in accordance with approved operating guidelines and budget. You will serve as the main contact for managers at the client level and addressing operational, contractual and financial issues.

You will also provide FM support to JCI Business Development Directors on future opportunities. You are expected to work with HR and legal teams on contractual and Union matters. 

What we look for 

Required 
University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
8 years facility management or building operations experience. 
5 years supervisory experience in management, budgeting, vendor management, operations and maintenance. 
Demonstrated leadership abilities and organizational skills. 
Demonstrate thorough knowledge in all of the following; contract management, energy management, CMMS, project management, life cycle planning. 
Must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of a wide area of Facility Management/Operations & Maintenance Business, business systems and infrastructure 
Ability to work effectively in a teaming and matrix environment with multiple and changing tasks and priorities. Must have Project management skills and ability to ensure contractual obligations are met. 
Ability to travel on an occasional basis. Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to deal with customers and others at all levels. 

Preferred:

Experience and knowledge of the P3 Market, especially in the Operations phase of such projects.
Knowledge of QFM

Must be proficient with windows computer software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Access) 


Preferred 
Knowledge of JCI procedures and policies. 
Experience in airport environment an asset
