How you will do it

This role reports to the Director of Cyber Security services. The role requirements include

5-7 years experience in a program management role or business development or sales role within the security or network services market.

Demonstrate ability to develop new business opportunities using a structured account management approach.

3 years minimum managed services industry experience.

Ability to create collateral, articulate new service offer value proposition and tailor to individual pursuits as required.

Disciplined tracking and reporting of project and sales pipeline.

Deliver growth targets and manage pipeline of well qualified opportunities.

Knowledge of Cyber, security services and wider managed IT services market.

Understanding of the Smart Building market, value chain, decision making and route to market.

Lead customer engagements, form and build relevant cross functional teams as part of opportunity development, manage from prospect to proposition to delivery of early opportunities.

Collaborative/Consultative approach is expected with proactive knowledge sharing across teams.

Articulate a Digital Transformation journey and position products and services to drive a data driven transformation of security operations.

Create new customer collateral and shape to current opportunities

Industry recognised qualifications in Project Management and CRM

Excellent Oral and Written communications skills

Broad awareness of wider technology sector trends in IT/Cyber/Network industry including IoT, Cloud, SDN, Machine Learning, routing/switching, adaptive networks.

The role will be based in Johnson Controls global HQ in 1 Albert Quay in Cork and involves travel (40%) to customer locations and JCI international locations in the US as required. This role also involves representing JCI at Key Cyber industry forums and relevant conferences as required along with raising awareness through public / social media and other channels.
