What you will do
  • Monitor overall Supply Chain Strategy and oversee production planning and  management activities within the organization
  • Develop production plan, budget and timelines according to production specifications- able to coordinate with necessary department to assure delivery (Sales, Accounting, Production and etc.)
  • Determine production requirements based on plant capacity and production specifications
  • Plan workflow and schedules for production departments- providing continuous process improvement solutions
  • Monitor production status, ensure timely delivery, provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction- ability to analyze bottleneck process and implement solution
  • Identify delays then either accordingly adjust schedules to meet deadlines or notify sale representative on any delays and outages
  • Coordinate with vendors and customers to ensure performance meets quality and deadline
  • Assist in production risk assessment, mitigation activities, determine equipment, materials and manpower required to complete production. Also evaluate current production processes then recommend improvements
  • Participate in engineering changes such as production line extensions and/or new product launches to endure orderly transition for production flow
  • Assist in new product development and enhancements- ability to minimize consumption & waste and recycle material
  • Conduct daily meetings to keep track of production schedules
  • Ensure that finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications
  • Resolve production issues and escalate unresolved issues to management promptly

What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field
  • Supply chain management including customer service support and production
  • Hands on experience with Supply Chain Management software (SAP is a MUST (MM, AP modules, SAP Plant Maintenance and etc.))
  • Management experience and able to coordinate/report to top management and shareholders
  • Experience providing continues business process improvement
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Computer literacy (Advance excel, SQL, VB and etc.)
  • Good command of English and Japanese is a PLUS
