Reports To:  Production Supervisor


POSITION OVERVIEW
Assembles, and installs sub-assemblies products by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reads and interprets drawings to determine sequence and methods of fabricating and assembling
products.
Operates various powered and non-powered hand tools including but not limited to wrenches,
sockets, screw guns, pop-riveters.
Bolts, rivets, screws, clips, caulks, or bonds component parts to assemble products.
Installs sub-assemblies in supportive framework according to drawings.
Inspects sub-assemblies and finished product for conformance to specifications.
Forward finished assembly or product to the next work area.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent
combination of education and experience.


LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to correspond.


MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in standard units of measure.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral,
or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
standardized situations. Ability to adhere to delegation of authority and lead by instructions of management and supervision.

None required.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Attendance is an essential job requirement defined as having regular, consistent, reliable, punctual and predictable attendance including the ability to work regular hours and shifts, overtime before and after shifts and on weekends. Ability and attitude to work as part of a team, including all related
departments/plants or independently as required achieving internal and external customer satisfaction.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
