What you will do:
The position reports to the APAC Transformation Leader and is a senior key contributor of the transformation office team specifically focused on the installation work stream who will track, analyze and communicate the performance of APAC Installation business to our internal and external stakeholders. The position has high visibility and will work closely with senior executives of business units to analyze and synthesize project performance, KPIs and information while benchmarking our performance with market. The results will be used for reporting to Board, performance evaluation and communication to our external stakeholders. The main responsibility of this role is to build and manage our COGS flexible model through the utilization and engagement of labour through 3rd party suppliers. 

How you will do it:

  • Apply your business and/or analytical skills to transform JCI APAC Installation business by solving real business problems and to deliver long term and sustainable impact to the company
  • Drive effective portfolio management to ensure business makes sound decision on securing & executing projects
  • Drive deliverables across APAC Installation business leveraging resources and relationships with our 3rd party providers
  • Ensure performance readiness across APAC through our flexible COGS labour & materials model
  • Create & maintain processes to deliver the flexible model and ensure high quality performance and set KPI’s are met
  • Being the principal point of contact between internal stakeholders and 3rd party suppliers, ensuring clear communications and a positive relationship is maintained throughout the projects;
  • Manage the processes around resource planning, monitoring and development of action plans concerning plant and labor utilization through our 3rd party supplier arrangement and address areas of risk and opportunity wherever possible
  • Provide guidance and technical leadership to others within the business unit to ensure the delivery of effective, customer focused solutions.
     


What we look for:

  • 10 + years of industry experience, who has experience in new builds, as well as fit out and refurbishment.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commercial, Procurement or other relevant discipline.
  • The right candidate will be commercially and financially astute, who has a high level of accountability.
  • Experience with subcontractor and procurement management
  • Commitment to safety and Quality leadership
  • High levels of emotional intelligence: Able to understand your impact on others and how to get the best out of your team and self.
  • Ability to think strategically plan and execute efficient

  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
  • Business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
