What you will do

  • To develop and grow the Committed Savings Model - Energy business to meet the targeted Revenue & Gross Margin plan of Johnson Controls in Singapore.
  •  
  • To develop and promote “Committed Savings Model - Energy” Solutions of Johnson Controls , leveraging on the integrated JCS service capabilities in delivering Sustainable One-Stop Solutions.  As part of the development of “Green Service” competency, to coach 15 managers to be certified Green Mark Managers (attain GMM status) by FY 2009.
  • Lead the assigned team of Energy Solutions personnel in providing distinctive sales & service offerings to satisfy internal and external customers’ needs, and ensure that their conducts conform to our JC’s Values.
  • Develop and continuously grow our Energy Solutions business targeting at both existing and new customer base in the designated territories through effective business strategies and tactical action plans without compromising on our service business sustainability and quality of earnings.
  • Ensure optimized market coverage through a balance of direct building owner sales, efficient contractor/dealer management and internal partnership with other line of businesses.
  • Actively explore new Energy Solutions opportunities while ensuring the retention of our existing customer base through strong teamwork, proactive customer visits and customer relationship building.
  • Deliver the planned secured orders, revenue and profitability of Green/Energy Solutions business.
  • Ensuring the Energy Solutions quotations to customers are submitted on a timely and professional manner with very close follow-up targeting for sales conversion.
  • Maintain constant field intelligence and to keep the management informed of relevant information on market trends, competitors’ activities, product, prices, business performance and promotional programs.
  • Formulate Annual Business Plan as per corporate planning requirements.
  • Ensure timely reporting of sales activities, prospects and forecasts, including actively participate in regular bi-monthly Green & Energy Solutions business review sessions.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement Energy Solutions initiatives in tandem with technological advancement to support the overall service strategic objectives in both short and long terms.
  • Participate in collection of aging debt in partnership with the finance department.
  • Continuously review and improve the Energy Solutions business processes to ensure at all times an efficient operation that can support both internal and external customers.
  • Develop and implement Energy Solutions marketing/sales programs that will strengthen our market presence & be seen as key market player in support of a sustainable business performance.
  • Identify and establish successor program and the development plan for each Energy Solutions personnel to maximize their technical competency and potential.
  • Represent as the in-charge person on Energy Solutions business on behalf of JC India in enabling best practice sharing and cross learning within Asia Pacific regional organizations.
  • Perform any other duties from time to time, whether ad-hoc or otherwise, as assigned by your superior or management

 

What we look for

 

  • Degree in Building Controls, M&E or HVAC services with 10 + years (5 year managerial experience).
  • English & mandarin essential and dialects preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Powerpoint softwares.
  • Need to travel overseas as and when required.
  • Require interaction with building owners, customers, dealers, contractors, etc.
  • Ability to work irregular hours and under pressure when required.
  • Experience in leading the development and growth of Energy Solutions business incl. Green Building.
