What we look for:
•Must be proficient in Microsoft Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.   Internet software and E-mail experience are also required. The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in:
•Bachelor of Science degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental and Occupational Science preferred.
Five to Ten years of safety and/or environmental experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred.
•In addition, other training requirements will be fulfilled on an on-going basis. Support is always available through JCI corporate for training.
•Ability to analyze data, convey findings and implement action plans.
•Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork oriented.
•Working knowledge and experience with SafeStart, STOP or other behavior based safety program preferred.
•Working knowledge and experience with LEAN manufacturing techniques preferred.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Strong problem solving skills.
•Excellent knowledge of PC applications
•Excellent communication skills.  Ability to foster solid relationships within the facility while achieving key operating objectives as it relates to environmental, health and safety.
•Bilingual (English & Spanish) preferred
