We are seeking to hire a HR Analyst to join our Global Business Centre and become an integral part of our HR Shared Services team. This role will contribute to evolving and delivering the core HR practices established at Johnson Controls while contributing at a hands-on level to represent and cultivate Johnson Control’s culture.
This role will have direct interaction and engagement with HRBP’s as well as Managers and Leaders across the EMEA.

This position is ideal for a candidate who wants to develop their career in HR and an excellent opportunity to get exposure to HR policies and processes on a regional level. You will work in the smartest building in Ireland, in a truly multinational, dynamic team and will hone your project development and change management skills.

How you will do it

  • Drive and deploy HR procedures and policies and compliance with all employment legislation
  • Identify and track key program metrics as well as develop and evolve program reports across EMEA
  • Serve as a primary HR contact to manage day to day HR policy advice and system support to employees
  • Define, document, deliver & re-design end-2-end HR processes to enable simple & strategic solutions that best support customer needs
  • Operationally responsible for the delivery of key business process including on-boarding and employee data management
  • Support the HRBP team with projects and data analysis in line with the Global HR Strategy
  • Partner with the leadership team to identify areas for improvement in terms of process and procedure
  • Work with HR Field Solutions to derive data and light analysis on employee performance trends to identify development needs and assess appropriate solutions
  • Support the movement of data through Workday and downstream systems including payroll and total rewards
  • Analyse and interpret business process issues and make recommendations to management and the wider HR team in relation to system updates and process improvements
  • Partner with the team to build a vision of how HR Ops can be integrated into the on-boarding process
  • Partner with colleagues to resolve more complex issues, ultimately reducing escalations as well as ensuring compliance by country
  • Collaborate with external vendors ensuring an “employee first” attitude and proactive support
  • Identify lean processes when supporting the business with Mergers and Acquisitions providing transparency and clear communication to all stakeholders
  • Perform audits to determine data anomalies, gaps or completeness

What we look for

Required Qualifications

  • Educated to degree level (BA/BS Degree) or equivalent years of field related experience
  • Fluency in English and Italian
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good business knowledge
  • Good understanding of change management, the importance of it, approaches, key tasks and timelines
  • Influencing skills
  • Ability to work across groups interacting in a positive way with individuals both directly and indirectly to achieve a common goal
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment working across multiple lines of business
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills
    confident in handling ambiguity with a common sense approach and pragmatism
  • Must have a good foundation of employment legislation
  • Ability to partner with multiple HR colleagues, partners and clients internationally
  • Comfortable with building relationships at all levels of the organisation and management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in HR Administration or Shared Service Center
  • Experience in a technology or high-tech organisation where customer service is utmost
  • Experience with HR Management Systems in particular Workday and Taleo
