What you will do

The HVAC Construction Sales Rep will professionally represent the Company with respect to the promotion and sale of all commercial HVAC offerings, across all building types, to owners, contractors and engineers within an assigned territory and accounts.

How you will do it 

• Services and supports existing customer accounts in assigned local geographic area.
• May work alongside more experienced sellers.
• Establishes contact with prospects and qualifies potential buyers by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and utilizing Company marketing strategies.
• Develops a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company product offerings, qualifies and prioritizes opportunities, and maintains appropriate territory records.
• Develops financial justifications, prepare proposals, make presentations, and performs necessary follow-up for successful closing of the sale.
• Interfaces effectively with district operations to deliver and improve service delivery.
• Reports progress and supply metrics to operation and corporate teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Participates in trade shows, special product demonstrations and other events with the objective of increasing sales and enhancing the company’s image

What we look for

Preferred

• Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree in a related field; Mechanical Technical Diploma is preferred.
• Experience in commercial HVAC systems installation, programming or sales is desirable.
• Experience in outside sales.
• Experience working with mechanical contractors, ability to read blueprints is desirable.
• Highly motivated and success driven.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, multi-tasking, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to effectively interact with internal organization and customer organizations both at the senior executive and field level
