To support the growth of our Sensormatic Solutions division in Pfäffikon (Zurich, Switzerland), we are currently looking for an experienced:

 

Key Account Manager Retail

 

As Key Account Manager, you will have full responsibility for the acquisition, delivery and growth of our Sensormatic Solutions portfolio at existing and new key retail accounts in Switzerland.

 

What you will do:

 

You will manage and develop sales through our existing main key accounts and achieve new business through new customers. Sensormatic Solutions is a growing business within Johnson Controls and you are expected to grow the customer base by bringing in new accounts, increasing overall revenue and profitability of the sales area. As part of your sales activities, you will also develop and deliver customer facing sales and service presentations to key customers on senior leadership level. You have an excellent understanding of the market, its needs and market trends. Therefore, will be able to provide market intelligence to management, deliver forecasts and contribute to annual budgets.

What we are looking for:

  • 5+ years of experience in retail and/or IT solutions sales or store operations is highly desirable
  • Experience in retail customer management, partner management, project team management
  • Knowledge in any of/multiple of the following domains: retail store operations, retail merchandising and inventory management, retail supply chain, account management, project management, enterprise software, professional services, enterprise solution sales and deployment methodology, retail loss prevention, data analytics, omni-channel retailing, enterprise software solution architecture.
  • Excellent problem solving skills: program resourcing, retail store operations change management, solution costing, solution pricing, negotiating service proposals and contracts, partner management, customer expectation management
  • High level of sensitivity to audience and the ability to influence teams; negotiates with great latitude on outcomes.
  • Ability to understand and document customer requirements with their associated ROI and market relevance.
  • Ability to interact with Product Management to formulate product and delivery strategies.
  • Prior experience in developing and delivering presentations to senior level retail audiences
  • Familiarity with ERP/SAP/Oracle/Microsoft Office
  • Fluent (oral and written) German and English, additional French or Italian is an advantage  
  • Flexibility to travel as required
