What will you do  

Johnson Controls seeks an experienced professional to serve as an On-boarding & Helpdesk Support Specialist within the Third-Party Compliance Program. This person will be primarily responsible for the on-boarding of new customers and vendors in our Third-Party Compliance Program along with managing the Third-Party Compliance Program shared mailbox. The purpose of the Third-Party Compliance Program is to eliminate risks of bribery and corruption in our businesses. The Specialist will report to the Third-Party Compliance Program Manager, based in Cork, Ireland. The Specialist will work in conjunction with a large matrix of internal functions including our businesses, compliance, finance, internal audit and legal.

How you will do it

  • Work with Business Sponsor's to complete Third-Party qualification requirements and collect required documentation
  • Support helpdesk email inbox and communications with business sponsors, managers, and procurement and compliance counsel
  • Responsible for completing a quality review of all submitted documentation
  • Follow-Up on insufficient information & documentation
  • Monitoring all program elements to ensure that the Program runs effectively
  • Ensure all requirements have been completed before approving third party applications
  • Ensure all requests are responded to within the service level agreement timelines
  • Managing program exceptions and escalations to ensure the program maintains a proper balance of the business needs while maintaining adequate compliance with the program standards and international law
  • Update our database so each third party has the correct workflow status.
  • Ensure data is managed according to all Data Privacy / Data Protection laws and JCI standards
  • Create reports in Excel/Power BI and issue to stakeholders
  • Identify, evaluate and implement process enhancements
  • Assist with online training where necessary
  • Manage and triage emails from our third-party compliance mailbox to delegate work to other team members
  • Run regular data integrity audit procedures
  • Understand the business needs and support in understanding the Third-Party Compliance Program
  • Supporting the deployment of the Third-Party Program to newly acquired entities

What we look for 


  • Previous experience in Compliance, Procurement, Sales support or Account Management type of roles.
  • The ability to perform as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully performing in a complex, global program role.
  • Excellent Communication skills.
  • Interest in International issues and anti-corruption compliance.


  • Fluency in any European foreign language would be a significant plus.
  • Experience supporting legal / compliance related functions in a global organization.
  • Experience managing a shared mailbox, delegating work to other individuals and responding to queries within our SLAs.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a global team framework and across multiple cultures.
  • The ability to be a change agent and positively impact a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate comfortably at all levels within an organization and with culturally diverse, international personnel.
