Job Summary

This role for the distribution network that includes directing the sales order process from end to end in a multi-distribution center environment. This person collaborates with the warehouse management team to determine best order release and fulfillment cycles to support the business. This role communicates with the Customer Service Teams, Retail Customers, Planning & Scheduling, to optimize Supply Chain efficiencies and cost.


What you will do


• Communicate with customer service and drive ERP discipline to maintain order integrity and meet customer demands.

• Report sales order defects, define root cause and propose solutions for processes that prevent the organization from meeting or exceeding the service level commitment.

• Partner with Warehouse personnel to resolve order flow issues and drive outbound performance.

• Report order status and action items to meet customer requirements to management personnel

• Communicate with customer service to insure a complete order data set is available to fulfill the order.

• Manage the business rules associated with order release and backorder generation


How you will do it


• Experience with Warehouse Management System required (Red Prairie preferred)

• Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Must be able to work in a cross functional and collaborative team

• Reports to Sr. Supervisor Order Management

• Ability to communicate in a timely, concise, accurate, and professional manner both verbally and in writing Display exceptional communication and customer service skills in daily email, phone, and face to face interaction with client representatives and suppliers.

• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain concepts and application

• Extensive experience with customer sales order/purchase order planning required (Baan or Oracle preferred)

• Must be proficient in the use on the Microsoft Office Suite applications. Advanced Excel and/or Access skills required

• Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Process training preferred

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Logistics or International Business is preferred

• 3- 4 years’ experience in ERP/WMS/TMS integration to support sales order activity
