What you will do


The Parts Counter Customer Service Representative will enter/acknowledge customer orders in Order entry system the same day the order is received, pack and unpack materials; weighing and placing proper postage on packages or cartons, collaborate with regional sales force and other field staff to deliver premier customer service, communicate daily with customers via phone, fax, e-mail, etc., work closely with other vital departments such as credit, billing, shipping, purchasing, technical service, marketing, etc., and other duties as assigned. The Parts Counter Customer Service Representative is also responsible for maintaining an ongoing relationship with key customers as well as communicating to all customers about new products or current promotions.

How you will do it

 
A Parts Counter Customer Service Representative uses manufacturing resource software to retrieve customer information, verifies inventory levels, and processes purchase orders, contacts customers on status of orders, negotiates with buyers if lead times not acceptable to the customer, works with purchasing agents on new parts, and lead times and pricing. As a Parts Counter Customer Service Representative you will also research and process credit and return requests, maintain the YORK Chiller Parts Center in a clean and orderly condition, research and resolve customer complaints and issues, and provides customer assistance in locating and identifying replacement parts. You will also provide customer service to domestic customers over the phone, through e-mail and chat to support the larger customer service team at the Baltimore Parts Center.

What we look for


Required
• 6 months to 1 year of related work experience or equivalent of education and experience
• Ability to comprehend Microsoft Suite Software
Preferred
• Associate’s degree preferred
