In this role you will support the global pricing and management team to develop, improve and implement price strategies and processes to optimize revenue and profitability. You will track the impact of pricing changes performs analysis to understand customer price sensitivity and the impact of pricing changes to the business. Furthermore, you will advise to sales and product management on transactional and strategic pricing decisions to drive margin growth through pricing effectiveness. Finally, you will define areas of opportunities and organization improvements, and aligns structure and efficiency across all EU & MEA NBU’s.

This role also contains and requires technical pricing activities like expertise in pricing Hierarchies. Key element of the roll will be in working with the various teams on a wide variety of topics ranging from pricing and business models and strategy.

Key Accountabilities operational Pricing

  • Support the Global pricing team in effective pricing management
  • Harmonize procedures across the region to improve performance
  • Control and optimize EU & MEA pricing and system process
  • Impact analyse on price contract request
  • Operational pricing (loading of discounts)
  • Analyse monthly pricing reports and identify trends
  • Opportunity review and analytics
  • Perform impact analyses for customer price adjustments

What we look for

  • Experience in international sales environment (5 – 7 years) in the field of financial analysis, marketing, pricing or sales analytics or related
  • Strong knowledge ERP systems (SAP, Baan, Navision) and Salesforce
  • Experience in creating, meaningful, actionable reports from a great deal of data
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of pricing
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience in a large multi-national publicly-held corporation a plus
