What you will do

  • Demonstrates leadership to lead procurement team to implement and improve TG process for better delivery, quality and cost.
  • Drives procurement process on framework agreement with key suppliers, drive standard cost for purchase items in effective and efficient way.
  • Works closely with senior leadership and across functional teams in pursuit of sustainable best in class strategic sourcing practices.
  • Achieves leverage on the “sourcing spend”
  • Develops best practices in supplier evaluation, selection and management
  • Participates in strategic customer projects to manage all 3rd party sourcing and procurement, applying best practices to these projects to achieve better saving, compliance and efficiency
  • Manages the procurement operations team for daily procurement transactions that involve the end-to-end procure-to-pay process, including but not limited to new supplier approval, vendor master maintenance, PO execution, delivery of goods and services and three-way matching of invoice/PO/delivery note
  • Upholds internal and external policies, regulations, and laws
  • Implements continuous improvement and cost reduction culture
  • Develops best practice processes, and work together with Finance and IT to enhance the ERP set up and the evaluation and set up of new procurement tools
  • Reviews and negotiates supply contracts, subcontractor agreements, and other terms and conditions
  • Be the subject expert of commodity sourcing for project teams, championing the central procurement of common goods and services with leveraged purchase power
  • Experience in managing logistics team for the daily logistics operations including the shipment of purchased goods, inventory management and customs will be an advantage.
  • All other assignments as needed by superior


 

What we look for

  • Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain with 10 years of experience in managing end to end supply chain in a MNC environment
  • Experienced leadership to lead procurement team to implement and improve TG process for better delivery, quality and cost.
  • Experience in driving procurement process on framework agreement with key suppliers, drive standard cost for purchase items in effective and efficient way
  • Strategic thinking, open minded, proactive
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong written and verbal communication in English, other Asian languages as a plus
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Experience in managing organization influence
  • Experience in change management
