What you will do

This is an APAC based Regional Program Manager role in a growth environment.  This position will be responsible for the integrated security systems programs for a number of our major strategic global accounts combining different sectors.  Responsibilities will include the management and delivery of projects, campaigns and initiatives in line with and to support the global sales strategy by Johnson Controls for these customers.  This individual is also responsible for the oversight and support to the global support program, design, installation, maintenance, and specification development tasks for this customer.



How you will do it


  • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop and implement sales & procurement strategy for Global customers
  • Collaborate with Account Managers to drive special projects, campaigns, global support programs and initiatives set out by the global strategic account managers.
  • Manage, Measure & monitor all program activities and provide operational support & delivery to the customer by working with sales, regional operational teams, and global center of excellence resources.
  • Discern customer expectations/requirements, pain points & unmet needs and communicate those to leadership for strategic alignment & ensure necessary actions being taken to address customer needs
  • Help Customer achieve his/her organizational goal and enable ease of conducting business with JCI
  • Establish processes to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
  • Report progress on programs regularly to leadership team & establish/manage program reporting that meets global standards
  • Ensuring contractual and corporate compliance for the account worldwide.
  • Provide leadership & guide multi-disciplined technical, sales, operational and administrative support personnel worldwide in order to ensure standardized deployment of a global program for the customer worldwide.
  • Coach and mentor global account and project team members on effective project management practices and techniques.
  • Serving as a customer interface to effectively communicate and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the global strategic account manager and customer to acquire additional business, pursuing new opportunities for contract revenue growth. 
  • Manages/directs proposal efforts for program growth or new opportunities.
  • Facilitate and provide teams - a continuous improvement environment with quality tools, behaviors and practices.
  • This role may require up to 30% travel

What we look for


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Project Management or Business Administration preferred.
  • MBA preferred.
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of direct experience in project / program management and/or program administration.  Preferably in the security industry.
  • ASIS CCP, PMI, PMP, or other equivalent certifications desired. 
  • Proven team leader capabilities and supervision experience in dealing with large integrated security projects and programs
  • Travel may be required in support of program.
  • Must possess strong skills in presentations, reporting, and effective writing; risk management/decision making skills; and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence customers.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • 30% Travel





  • MBA qualification will be preferred.
