What you will do
Develops, monitors, updates, communicates and implements plans for the delivery of projects on behalf of the ShopperTrak Italy business. Executes project management processes including scope definition, scheduling, resource and material planning and allocation, risk management planning, cost and budget management, reporting, and quality assurance. Acts as principle point of contact for said projects, working with clients, 3rd party providers, and internal departments to ensure success. Demonstrates strong leadership and people management skills in forming successful teams from local, international and 3rd party resources.

How you will do it

  • Acts as project manager on deliveries for the ShopperTrak Italy business, providing clarity of scope, budget, timelines, risks & issues, quality criteria, change management, and resourcing, in accordance with recognized project management methodologies and techniques
  • Chairs project meetings and steering groups as required
  • Produces, maintains and communicates project plans with all relevant stakeholders
  • Assigns tasks, directs work and provides guidance to the project team to achieve quality results
  • Assists with the development of any business cases which might be required to support the acquisition or development of critical project components
  • Identifies, mitigates and recommends alternatives on handling risks and issues that threaten the successful completion of the project
  • Identifies areas within the business unit where process improvements may benefit project performance
  • Documents, obtains approval, and tracks all changes in project parameters. Communicates project changes and events to stakeholders
  • Acts as primary contact for all project matters, working with internal colleague, clients, and 3rd parties to ensure effective project coordination
  • Responsible for stakeholder management. Facilitates communications among project participants to expedite project progress and to resolve issues and problems. Schedules and facilitates meetings on project status and issue resolution
  • Prepares presentations to senior management on project schedule, process and status.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Typically requires a minimum of 5 years’ related experience
  • Industry-recognized accreditation in the field of Project Management, for example
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, PRINCE2 Practitioner, Certified Associate in Project Management from the Project Management Institute (CAPM), Agile / SCRUM
  • Excellent knowledge of project management methodology and tools including planning software
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Other language skills desirable
  • Excellent people management and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Ability to travel (internationally)
  • Excellent knowledge of computer systems and processes and PC desktop applications
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation and regulations impacting business unit industry.
