What you will do
The Regional Program Director North America has principal ownership of business case development, training, facilitating and auditing all functions for footprint projects including the startup, shutdown and movement of production. This role is responsible for ensuring the success of all footprint projects within region of responsibility.

How you will do it
  • Lead, coach and develop Materials and Engineering Program Managers for region.
  • Lead, coach and develop Product Business Units (PBU) Supply Chain Managers.
  • Support and guide Product Business Leaders in supply chain development.
  • Lead the improvement of Footprint Playbook processes and tools.
  • Support network optimization scope development.
  • Lead footprint project concept formation and early stage business case development.
  • Support footprint project team in selecting and/or hiring qualified functional leads.
  • Training of all regional footprint project teams in all functions in the Footprint Playbook.
  • Facilitate early phase team formation and planning.  
  • Assess all operational functions to determine gaps in operating capabilities and support footprint project teams to close gaps.
  • Audit functions footprint project plans to ensure adequate resources and planning that will meet footprint project objectives, metrics and deliverables. 
  • Ensure that the all functions for footprint projects are adequately planned to achieve target customer quality, lead-time, delivery, supply continuity, and delivery of the business case.
  • Ensure alignment of stakeholders for all footprint projects.
  • Ensure proper approvals and delegation of authority are followed for all footprint projects.
  • Ensure Footprint Playbook process is deployed for all footprint projects including gate deliverables and required audits.
  • Coach and support footprint project teams in all aspects of planning and execution.
  • Responsibilities may also include assignments in project management as needed to support the business.
Others duties as assigned.
What we look for
Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience
  • This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field of study with eight (8) to ten (10) years’ experience operations and project management.  
  • Master’s Degree in Business or Technical Field or twelve (12) plus years in operations or project management.  Normal mechanical and analytical ability is a must.  
  • Must be able to analyze and interpret complex technical procedures, business periodicals, and journals as well as write reports and procedure manuals.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) as well as Internet software and E-mail is required. 
  • Extended knowledge of ERP and MRP experience.  
  • Ability to reside in region of ownership.  
  • Minimum of two years’ experience operating in region of ownership. 
  • Travel up to 50% required, including global   
  • Fluency in a foreign language (Spanish or other) desirable
