The Regional STEP (Sales Training Education Plan) Training Program Specialist supports the North American Sales and Latin America employees and leaders in creating development plans covering technical knowledge of our Fire Suppression Products and systems, our business tools and industry codes and standards, the identified development needs are used to create an individual training plan (Curriculum) or Sales Training Education Plan (STEP). 

The Regional Training Program Specialist works closely with technical trainers, product managers and/or external vendors to develop training modules that can cover company specific needs and organizes their delivery through on-line (LMS – Learning Management System), recorded, live webinar based or face-to-face / classroom training sessions. 
The Regional Training Program Specialist further implements tools and processes to ensure continuous monitoring and evaluation of STEP program usage within the region, as well as the individual employee’s progress versus their established training plans.

What you will do 

Own the Sales Training Education Plan (STEP) 
-Work with the regional sales teams to assess technical training needs and the related content development priorities
-Develop, evaluate and update training modules covering these technical development needs
-Align STEP offerings with regional sales leaders to ensure proper assignment of modules to individual team members as part of their personal development plans
-Ensure and monitor that the required trainings will be attended within the assigned due dates
-Develop regular communication on new and existing offerings to drive awareness to employees and their managers in order to promote the STEP program

Develop tools and processes
-Proactively support the development, evaluation and improvement of used tools, documentation and processes 
-Leverage LMS platform to ensure consistent registration, progress tracking status and control
-Ensure alignment with other systems/platforms such as techXchange and Workday

Administration and reporting
-Ensure correct training and trainee administration; including updating calendars, registrations and issuance of training completion certificates
-Training certificate validity and expiry follow up
-Monitoring and reporting systems for tracking training needs and certifications
-Analyze and feed in new training needs in the various fields
What you will need

Bachelor degree in Employee Development or similar background through education or relevant experience.

Job Specific:
-Very strong communication and team work skills
-Strong presentation/training skills by experience of delivering training or facilitating seminars 
-Very strong project follow-through; time management 
-Service oriented
-Customer focus, opportunity and solution minded
-Enhanced experience with Microsoft Office  (minimum Power Point, Outlook, Word, Excel); additionally experience with Visio, Adobe Connect Pro, Adobe Presenter and/or Adobe Captivate is preferred 
-Working with general computer tools; experience working with SumTotal LMS  and/or  MicroSoft SharePoint is preferred
