What you will do

  • Promote the JCI Marine Solutions full range of Aftermarket Solutions for Production systems, Fire Protection Systems, HVAC systems & Through Life Mature Asset Services to key End Users, decision makers and influencers within defined territory Malaysia marine, offshore, oil & gas markets.
  • Promote and Increase Awareness of JCI Marine Solutions.
  • Collaborate and coordinate activities across L-Tyco & L-JCI Marine Solutions Teams
  • Maximise Project awareness to all JCI Marine Solutions Teams.
  • Working with the Branch Manager/Head of Sales and implement the agreed strategy for Business development and the promotion JCI Marine Solutions.
  • Work alongside the Sales and Engineering teams to create and develop a strong platform for service growth within South East Asia Marine & Offshore Aftermarket.
  • Identification, delivery and conversion of sales opportunities.

 
How you will do it

KEY RESULT AREAS:

  •        Be responsible for promoting JCI as the Industry Leader together with our full range of aftermarket service solutions to key decision makers and influencers within the Marine & Offshore market places.
  •        Target and develop key End User relationships across each of the regions. In particular those associated with the Marine & Offshore.
  •        Develop an understanding of the Local Authorities and their associated regulations and company registrations required in association with each of the solutions we take to market.
  •        Identify, lead and coordinate JCI efforts to obtain local Authority and End User product / solution approvals
  •        Long term goals will include developing a strategy and platform by which we are able to target After Sales / Service opportunities for JCI within the territory. 
  •       Identify potential and develop those accounts within territory that have a mind-set and can add value as Key Account Service Pa

  •    Responsibility for the development and achievement of the JCI Business Development and Growth Plan, including specific sales objectives and financial targets. rtners.
  • •       Further develop existing and identify / target new Customer relationships and projects in order to promote JCI and generate aftersales service business which includes Spares, Labor & Materials, Upgrades & Maintenance contracts for the complete JCI Fire & HVAC businesses.
  • •       Develop and maintain a high level of opportunity conversion by maximising strong relationships with potential Customers and decision makers / influencers.
OTHER DUTIES:   
 
  • Responsibility for the JCI Management of Third Party (3P) Relationships in Country.
  • Full adoption of the company CRM tool – Salesforce.com.
  • Liaise with Sales & Operations team and work effectively as part of the JCI teams to achieve the booking targets assigned.

What we look for

 
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE/REQUIREMENTS:
 
ESSENTIAL:
 
  • Diploma/Bachelor Degree, preferably in Engineering discipline
  • Experience working in an Oil, Gas, Marine and Energy Market Place.
  • Experience identifying, contacting and promoting the solutions of a large enterprise to Local Authorities, End Users and market decision makers.
  • Ability to communicate both internally and externally at high levels.
  • Customer focused orientation with strong influencing and negotiation skills to gain wide acceptance.
  • A high level of Business Acumen with strong strategic agility.
  • Systematic and Logical with a drive to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Must thrive in challenging situations and work within the parameters of the organisation.
  • Preferably with some knowledge of Production system, Fire detection system, Gas Suppression system, Water & foam systems and Marine HVAC Systems.
 
DESIRABLE:
 
  • Existing End User/Ship Owner Relationships within the Oil & Gas, Marine & Offshore Markets.
  • An understanding of the Local Authority requirements and product / Company Registrations and Industry Standards associated with the above.
  • A positive outlook combined with a self-confident, approachable and friendly manner.
  • The candidate will be ambitious, inquisitive, imaginative and participative with a desire to learn and succeed.
  • A self-starter that leads and encourages others.
