What you will do

Under general supervision of the Product Line Controller, this position is responsible for providing financial support to the global products team regarding: budgeting, forecasting, actual result analysis and HFM submissions. In addition the role is responsible for the SG&A spend for the global Products of over $70M.  This includes preparing month-end journal entries, analysis of results and forecasting/budgeting.  Analyst is expected to have strong communication skills as a number of the deliverables will require communication with higher-level PS finance personnel and other cross-functional managers.

 
 How you will do it
  • Prepares executive summaries and variance analysis related to SG&A spend for global products
  • ­Prepares month-end journal entries
  • Completes monthly reporting requirements, budgeting, forecasting, and Hyperion submissions related to global products
  • Prepares, analyzes, and reviews quarterly forecasts and annual financial plans
  • Completes monthly reporting requirements related to global products
  • Supports the ongoing development of the global PAR process, Daptiv and BI scorecards
  • Supports the Product Line Controller with ad hoc requests.
  • Assists in the preparation of business cases for capital investments
  • Assists in analyzing engineering spend for capitalization
  • Helps to maintain the internal controls over global engineering
  • Provides support for products and engineering initiatives, including tracking product cost savings, performing cost breakdowns on products across the region, supporting the product organization in pricing analysis
What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum four years of progressive work experience
  • A highly motivated individual capable of handling multiple projects and responsibilities simultaneously
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in teams
  • Strong analytical and computer skills
  • Familiarity with either Hyperion HFM or SAP a plus
