What you will do

Our insightful intelligent BMS technologies are designed to listen to what a building is saying about its condition. They collect and analyze data and then provide insights on how to improve and control your building’s efficiency and productivity. Within this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing systems malfunctions requiring specific technical knowledge and relevant qualifications as well as an understanding on time and material requirements.

How you will do it
  • Install, start up, and commission, and maintain systems in line with defined regulations, standards and processes
  • Understand and analyze relevant technical documents such as electrical schemes, fluid schemes, piping diagrams, psychometric diagrams, etc.
  • Communicate with customer upon arrival and before leaving the work site.
  • Meet regularly with customer to become familiar with operating problems and reach full understanding of customer needs
  • Keep customer informed on the nature of service provided, outstanding issues, recommends system enhancement/upgrade/replacement and promotes the sale of change orders and/or additional labor & material work
  • Advise and train customer in system operations
  • Document work completed in a clear and concise way and promptly submits service reports
  • Maintain and improve technical proficiency in Johnson Control’s product lines
  • Ensure compliance with the Johnson Controls safety culture and adheres to all applicable safety standards, requirements and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations, where required.

What we look for
  • Understanding of mechanical and electrical drawings and symbols
  • Ability to analyze system drawings and schematics
  • Basic understanding of electrical installation practices and requirements
  • Basic understanding of pneumatic controls installation practices and requirements
  • Proficient in software applications including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio and Autocad
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure and network communication systems
  • Good knowledge of service procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Italian including, but not limited to the ability to relate technical terminology to customers, listen effectively, and solicit input from others
