What you will do:

Under general direction, meets the profitability objectives and cash flow performance of the account plan. Develops account expansion plans and pull-through of additional JCI offerings leveraging purchasing, supplier programs, service and product offerings. Partners with JCI sales and ops management teams. Participates in contract renewal efforts. Owns and optimizes the billing and collection process for all service lines to meet appropriate performance levels. Leads the operational team to provide the operations and maintenance offerings to assigned account(s) for the purpose of delivering optimized workplace environments and manages the operations and maintenance budgets for customer. Responsible for meeting customer and employee satisfaction objectives and ensuring account staff meet procedural requirements for compliance with business delivery, quality, safety, human resources and health standards. Develops and maintains close working relationships with customers, and communicates and promotes company-wide offerings and expertise, to deliver a single seamless service to clients. Ensures contractual obligations are met. Tracks, analyzes and trends facility operating costs to identify operational cost reduction opportunities and generate savings for the customer.

How you will do it:


Strategic business manager responsible for profitability objectives including contract execution of high tech O&M business with multiple support services. This includes leading the onsite team of administrative support, technicians and JCI partners delivering HVAC, building automation, security, fire detection, fire suppression and building wide system IT services. Will implement innovative services by taking full advantage of the Internet of Things and Big Data analytics to deliver exceptional customer outcomes. Accountable for facility performance on large, multi-building, high risk, highly visible contracts typically up to $15M in size. Establish partnership with customers and develop a “C-Level” contact.

Meets contractual obligations and customer satisfaction objectives. Participates in contract renewal efforts and promotes expansion of contract scope. Analyzes facility management business to identify & communicate to the business, potential cost reduction opportunities and additional Facility Management offerings

Responsible for the execution and achievement of operational objectives. Ensures that consistent standards are deployed across customer accounts. University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 8 Years minimum experience.

What we look for: 

Bachelor's Degree, Masters preferred and 10 years related experience leading facilities and HVAC operations.

Demonstrated leadership ability and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage multiple teams simultaneously and communicate effectively with customers is a plus. Complex office buildings experience and additional certifications is a plus.
