What you will do

Responsible for coordinating suppliers and verifying quality standards in accordance with the requirements of the organization. In charge of performing regular supplier audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, as well as actively participating in strategic development based on quality control plans. Manage the supply chain, serve as the liaison for supplier, suggest structural quality and process improvements, and collaborate with other engineers in a team environment.

How you will do it

  • Ability to perform quality audits on suppliers to assure products and services meet International Organization for Standards (ISO) and regulatory standards.
  • Maintain successful relationships with supply, engineering, manufacturing, and other corporate departments.
  • Report supplier performance and quality to management.
  • Lead corrective actions as required from supplier 8D’s or non-conformance reports
  • Assist in the development and implementation of supplier management programs.
  • Must have complete knowledge of APQP documents like PPAP, FMEA, Control Plans and Quality and
  • Environmental standards , ISO 9001 and ISO 14000

 

What we look for 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience (Electrical or Industrial Engineering).
  • 2-3 years related experience preferred
  • Previous experience in a quality supervising capacity is required.
  • Must be problem solver with advanced analytical skills to find innovative solution to quality-related issues.
  • Proficient in English language with strong communication skills.
  • Proficient in in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Experience in a metal-mechanical work environment and/or manual assembly work environment is desirable.
