What you will do

The Analyst will be responsible for developing reports and data analytics solutions. The analyst will gather requirements for ad-hoc data analysis, develop reports and dashboards using reporting tools such as Power BI or Excel and write SQL queries to extract and develop meaningful insights with data mining. The analyst will work independently to collect requirements, engage necessary stakeholders from different departments and manage timelines and expectations.

How you will do it

  • Analyze, study and build insights using customer operations data by connecting to Oracle and other related ERPs and data warehouses.
  • Design and develop custom reports, scorecards, and dashboards using reporting tools for key metrics and KPIs.
  • Perform ad-hoc data analysis and manual data refreshes.
  • Elicit business requirements from subject matter experts using interviews, document analysis, and requirements workshops.
  • Use the gathered requirements to provide key information between multiple data systems
  • Engage as data SME and serve as a liaison between multiple development teams and stakeholders
  • Develop manual/automated reporting programs using data from in-house systems or other data marts.
  • Conduct data profiling to understand data relationships and the quality of data.
  • Engage with IT to transform existing solutions to new methodology and technology. Liaise with IT to manage the process of data mapping, UAT testing, etc.
  • Maintain close alignment with all customers (internal, external, management, and at the field level) and other data reporting teams to ensure requirements are being met.

What we look for

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from a reputed university in engineering, IT, economics, math, statistics, science, or other related fields in the quantitative or analytical discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in related data/reporting analyst roles.

Skills

  • Analytical Thinking.
  • Excellent skill level in SQL.
  • Advanced Excel and Statistics.
  • Data Mining and Data Profiling.
  • Experience working with relational databases - Oracle, MS SQL Server.
  • Report development using common reporting tools as Power BI, Excel.
  • Proficiency in dashboard and scorecard design and development.
  • Knowledge of working with database client tools such as Toad, Oracle SQL Developer.
  • Knowledge of field fleet management and field service delivery systems will be preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent documentation and organizational skills. Must be detail­ oriented.
  • Excellent critical-thinking skills with the ability to research and analyze data retrieved from multiple sources
  • Must possess and demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
  • Must be an adaptable self-starter and work with minimal supervision. Must be able to handle multiple projects and organize time effectively.
  • Must be willing to put in extra time and effort if need be. Go above and beyond the requirements of the job and strive to exceed expectations.
