What you will do:

The primary function of this position is leading the National Accounts Deficiency team, whose job it is to ensure our customers receive quotes in a timely manner that adhere to their contractual stipulations, and the applicable fire codes while ensuring profitability targets for JCI.

What you will do:

• Responsible for ensuring revenue and productivity goals are achieved through effective management and coaching of all employees.
• Responsible for the cycle time of quoting from the point of identification that a quote is required to its presentation to the customer.
• Will be responsible for reporting out on KPIs, including revenue, margins, productivity and other KPIs specific to the programs they oversee.
• Analyzes reasons for quotes not being approved by customers to determine opportunities for improved close rates.
• Must be able to influence across the organization without direct authority in a way that impacts results and the customer experience.
• Must work successfully with other department heads to ensure smooth transitions between processes.
• Will document all processes and continually identify areas for continuous improvement
• Will Train, review and develop team members.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Must have the ability to work with various systems that encompass all aspects from the process.
• Must have the ability to handle a variety of situations encountered during the deficiency process.
• Must develop and maintain high levels of trust and credibility with Senior Leadership and other department heads.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of customer service and sales experience in a related business with a proven successful record of accomplishment that is verifiable.
• 5+ years of management and direct report experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Good MS Office Skills – Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
