What you will do
Under the direction of the Group Controller, position is responsible for providing controllership duties around Global Product Functional Headquarter groups ($170M annual spend) and partnering with the Functional COE owners.  This includes managing the Budget, Forecasting processes.  In addition, this position is responsible for managing proper month-end close consolidation activities, HFM change request oversight and provide overall Technical accounting support. Candidate must be able to effectively work with Group and Division Senior Management on a regular basis as well as effectively manage Staff Analysts.

How you will do it
•Ensures alignment with COE functional budget leaders for all Plan / Forecast and Outlook processes ($170M spend)
•Manages all HFM projects / change control activity
•Drives improvement in closing activity from both timeliness and accuracy standpoint
•Manages legal entity review
•Liaison with JCI Consolidations team and required quarterly schedules
•Provides technical accounting support
•Develops/Manages allocation process across GP ($330M of corporate/RBC costs)


What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting.  Broad background in all aspects of financial planning and analysis, including a minimum six years accounting related experience and four years of financial planning and analysis. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills with strong problem solving abilities.   Must have the ability to work and be effective in a team/matrix environment.  Familiarity with IT systems as they relate to financial functions and operational areas.  Individual PC skills, particularly with spreadsheet programs, are a must.

PREFERRED:
 MBA or CPA preferred.  Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, and Hyperion Enterprise Consolidation Software.
