What you will do:

You will be responsible for directing quality assurance operations for the plant. Developing and controlling quality programs in compliance with ISO 9001-2015 and U.L.  standards. Auditing production department’s conformance with QA standards and procedures. Conducing quality assurance training for employees engaged in material handling or product assembly.

How you will do it:
  • Mange product quality systems to ensure compliance with ISO 9001-2015, U.L. & engineering standards
  • Lead process or product improvement efforts
  • Manage the audit process and provides feedback to teams on all defects found
  • Participate in ECN process and product team meetings to guide the efforts of the teams toward resolving quality issues
  • Coordinate warrant support activities to include manufacturing of parts and/or use of internal labor to perform warrant work at customer location
  • Develop systems and procedures to clarify engineering work instructions
  • Administer warranty tracking process and appropriate corrective actions
  • Participate in the review of design, manufacturing, purchasing, and test documentation to ensure that the design and customer’s requirements are met on assigned products

What we are looking for:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or technical discipline and five (5) to eight (8) years of quality experience.
  • In the absences of a four (4) year degree a minimum of eight (8) to twelve (12) years of quality experience is required.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints
  • Experience with monthly scrap root cause and corrective action analysis
  • Experience managing gage calibration system
  • Experience working directly with customers
  • Ability to travel to customer sites 10% (domestic)
