What You’ll Do:
The Staff Accountant will perform various accounting related functions, including but not limited to financial review of all regional offices. Responsibilities include:
1.Preparing and reviewing monthly financials from each regional office, including journal entry preparation, a review of account variances to budget and final statement delivery.
a. Work closely with the UK and China Controllers on variances and other open items.
2.Calculating and reviewing monthly commission accruals from each regional office, including review with UK and China Controllers.  Also responsible for final delivery of commission statements.
3.Assuming responsibility for performing month-end processing.
a. Facilitate the accumulation of information necessary to adjust balance sheet accounts.  Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly with proper documentation.
b. Work closely with members of the finance team to ensure the month end checklist deadlines are adhered to.
4.Backfilling for accounting specialist when team members are on vacation.
5.Assuming responsibility for developing and maintaining proper internal controls.
a. Ensure that policies and procedures are written and followed.
b. Communicate internal control deficiencies to Executive Management as needed.
6.Working with accounting specialists to ensure accuracy, efficiency and completeness of various processes.
7.Primary leading on training of new hires within the finance team.
8.Constantly looking for ways to simplify processes and create efficiencies within the global finance team.
9.Special projects as needed.


What You’ll Need:
•Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
•Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a finance team
•Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
•A strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•2-5 years experience required
•High level of accuracy and energy
•Must possess strong analytical skills
•Strong communication skills, both oral and written
•Desire to succeed
