What you will do
  • As a part of the Total Rewards COE the position drives global Programs and manages large scale project for the organisation
  • Ensures cost efficient and market driven global Total Rewards procedures and standards
  • Supports and maintains compensation objectives and programs in line with business strategy, as well as our global Total Rewards practices 
  • Supports, steers and controls regional Human Resources Representatives in the application and usage of company compensation procedures and standards
  • Ensures that Total Rewards practices stay in line with the market and global compensation practices
How you will do it
  • Manages complex, global/ regional enterprise-wide projects utilising the resources of other regions
  • Serves as a leader for significant projects through various stages from concept definition with the business through implementation
  • Lead an indirect team which maybe of a substantive size
  • Provides consulting services to regional Human Resources and or General Management to ensure alignment with policy and business objectives
  • Based on comprehensive knowledge of Total Rewards related topics leads annual processes for merit planning and incentive payments for certain areas (region, BU), ensuring its correct implementation
  • Liaise with Compensation COE Global Incentive team and takes part in the incentive plan review, help to monitor and improve incentives plans for e.g. sales or manufacturing operations
  • Acts as expert in the area of labor market and trend analysis
  • Initiates complex analysis of organisation’s total compensation packages and based on market research and trend analysis recommends policy adjustments and forecasts cost implications to business in order to remain competitive in the industry
  • In addition to management of complex project management may provide analytical services on topics like internal and external equity, cost of labor, pay trends, recommendations on salary packages, salary increase guideline and correct usage of current grading system, etc.
  • Handles all Total Rewards related tasks for a region independently and ensures all Total Rewards policies and practices are being implemented
  • Under supervision formulates, develops and designs policies and practices in the organisation
  • Initiates complex analysis of organisation’s total compensation packages and based on market research and trend analysis recommends policy adjustments and forecasts cost implications to business in order to remain competitive in the industry
What we look for
  • Bachelor’s degree required, ideally a Master of Business Administration preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Extensive experience with all facets of broad-based compensation
  • Knowledge of Human Resources principles, namely performance evaluation, payroll, and benefits
  • Strong technical skills and understanding of the legal, labour and economic environment of the assigned region
  • Ability working toward deadlines, multi-tasking and operating in an environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to build partnerships with your compensation team members, Human Resources and managers, even when they are located in other parts of the world
  • Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to “see the bigger picture”
  • Strong project management skills
  • Exceptional skills with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Experience with Human Resources systems
