Transformation PMO (Program Manager)


Location: The selected candidate can be based anywhere in Belgium, Nehterlands, or Germany.

The primary role of the transformation PMO Program Manager is to assist in defining and building the PMO providing on-going project leadership and coaching to cross-functional project teams. This role will include leading analysis and defining gaps in the current Program management structure. Additionally, the Project Manager will support the development and application of accurate and consistent tools and processes for product cost measurement and tracking throughout projects. The Program Manager will also lead the project teams in defining, tracking, reporting, and achieving product cost goals.

What you will do:

  • PMO analytics, be part of the transformation team, define, develop, and deploy delivery tools and processes required to control costs, improve quality and maintain/improve customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as a point person to coordinate process optimization efforts between national and regional accounts
  • Ensure alignment of the EMEA PMO strategy and optimize PMs Resources per country
  • Create governance processes and establish relationships with all project managers in the EMEA region
  • Monitor and report compliance to the PMO strategy
  • Evaluate tools, standards, and methodologies for a pro-active PMO
  • Facilitate training and for project managers in the region
  • Documents tools, standards, and project methodology for fast regional adaption
  • Analyze to improve current structure of reporting line of engineers to PMs
  • Own the creation and tracking of project schedule and reporting of project progress and performance.
  • Tracks and reports on progress of targets to the PMO Director

What we look for:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project or program management required
  • Experience in Program Management, Digital Transformation, Project Management, and Process Optimization is desired
  • Broad technical understanding (products, development, manufacturing, product cost analysis, etc.)
  • Aptitude and desire to be involved in cross-functional activities, including engineering, marketing, sales, finance, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Comfortable in an influencing vs. direct management role.
  • Familiarity with ERP Software, Microsoft Office, SAP and Oracle
  • Ability to speak, read and write in English fluently. (French, Dutch or German in a plus.)
