What you will do

The Business Transformation Strategy leader will be responsible for ensuring the company has a long-term transformation roadmap that is continuously evolving to respond to market needs, customer expectations, and new technology. This position drives integration in operations across our three domains (Security, Fire and HVAC) to help realize significant positions of advantage across our enterprise. This leader will champion culture change in the organization around transformation, technology adoption and centralization.

  • Serves as strategic advisor to the VP of Delivery Optimization for Building Solutions North America.
  • Presents regularly to Senior and Executive Leadership Teams explaining Transformation strategy, collecting feedback, and providing updates on program progress and performance.
  • Provides critical thinking and influence by helping to link the company’s strategic agenda to the resulting execution plan.  
  • Provides guidance and counsel in development of long range plans involving strategy development, resource allocation, centralization, globalization, automation, work plans, timelines, and financial outcomes.
How you will do it
  • Owns, develops, and revises the five year transformation strategy and roadmap for installation and service operations. This includes aligning and coordinating the strategy, goals, procedures, and desired outcomes for each process across our three disparate domains.
    • Includes the following processes: Job scoping, design & engineering, project management, installation execution, install to service handover, customer service request intake, remote support, order to cash support, schedule & dispatch, parts & inventory management, service execution, subcontractor usage and management, technician selling, among others.
    • Continually scans the external landscape for emerging process and technology trends in field service to continue to inform the strategy and roadmap.
  • Works with the transformation program leaders to kick off programs, develop ROI models, build organizational support and ensure progress is being made in a timely fashion.
  • Develops the strategy for operations integration across our three domains, and then drives that integration.
  • Drives consistent and common metrics and definitions of operations execution across the domains
  • Runs North American operating system which reports up to CEO’s global council.
  • Leads the transformation change management strategy and organization

What we look for
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Operations, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in one or more of the following functions: business operations, service, engineering, strategy, project management, or process improvement.
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives which align with business goals and budget.
  • Experience in diagnosing, isolating, and resolving complex issues and recommending and implementing strategies to resolve problems.
  • Proven track record of collaborating cross-functionally in a matrix structure and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience in effectively driving change throughout a large-scale, complex organization.
  • Experience communicating strategy and complex business initiatives in a clear and concise manner to multiple types of audiences and channels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Access, OneNote, PowerPoint, Power BI and Sharepoint).
  • Willing to travel up to 25% of the time for business purposes.
  • MBA/Master’s degree.
  • Experience in Security, Fire or HVAC industry.
  • Ability to bring disruptive ideas and challenge the “status quo.”
